The GCEO of NNPC Ltd, Engr. Bashir Bayo Ojulari, paid a courtesy visit to the Nigeria Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority in Abuja.

Both organisations reaffirmed collaboration to boost energy security, expand refining capacity, and attract investment across the oil and gas value chain.

Ojulari said NNPC’s strategy prioritises disciplined execution, operational excellence, and profitability across commercial operations.

He explained that the 2026 NNPC Gas Master Plan targets higher gas off-take and deeper downstream value creation.

Responding, NMDPRA Chief Executive Engr. Saidu Aliyu Mohammed pledged sustained partnership to deliver national energy objectives.

He commended the Gas Master Plan, noting gas remains Nigeria’s transition fuel within a balanced energy mix.
