The Headquarters Joint Task Force, Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK), has strengthened humanitarian security partnerships in Borno State through high-level engagements with international organisations.
On Tuesday, OPHK hosted delegations from the United Nations Department of Safety and Security (UN DSS) and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).
According to a statement by the Media Information Officer, Lieutenant Colonel Sani Uba, the visits focused on civil–military cooperation, humanitarian access, and regional stability.

In response, the Theatre Commander, Major General Abdulsalam Abubakar, welcomed the delegation and acknowledged UN DSS’ critical role.
He explained that OPHK conducts both kinetic and non-kinetic operations, with humanitarian support remaining a core priority.
He added that while security conditions have improved, sustained vigilance remains essential.

He commended OPHK’s support for ICRC programmes, including healthcare, nutrition, immunisation, and family reunification.

The engagements concluded with souvenir presentations, register signings, and group photographs, attended by senior OPHK officers.
