A ceremony took place on Monday in Gombe State to launch a book by Prof. Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami. The book documents over 241 development projects. It also highlights an empowerment programme that has created jobs for more than 700 youths.
The event held at Pantami’s residence office in Jekadafari, near the JED Office in Gombe. It attracted community members, stakeholders, and supporters.
The book outlines projects across all 11 local government areas of the state. Organizers said the projects reflect Prof. Pantami’s commitment to grassroots development.
Speakers at the event said the projects cut across several sectors. They explained that Prof. Pantami carried them out during his time in public service.
In addition, the empowerment program has provided jobs for over 700 youths, including women. Organizers said the initiative aims to reduce unemployment and promote economic inclusion.
Prof. Pantami has also supported development efforts beyond Gombe State. His initiatives, they noted, have contributed to national growth.
Participants expressed optimism about the book’s impact. They said it could inspire more investment in people-focused programs.
They also described it as a useful guide for future leadership and development strategies.
