The Executive Chairman of Gombe Local Government Area and Chairman of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), Gombe State chapter, Professor Abdullahi Bappah Garkuwa, has congratulated Dr. Abdullahi Lamido on his appointment as Director-General, Economic and Social Reforms Coordination.
Garkuwa conveyed the congratulatory message in a statement shared on his Facebook page, describing Lamido’s appointment by Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, as well deserved.
He said the appointment reflects Lamido’s competence, dedication and commitment to the development of Gombe State.
“Heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Abdullahi Lamido on his well-deserved appointment by His Excellency, Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, as the Director-General, Economic & Social Reforms Coordination,” Garkuwa stated.
The ALGON chairman expressed confidence that Lamido would deploy his experience and expertise in discharging the responsibilities of his new office.
“I am confident that you will bring your wealth of experience and expertise to this important responsibility,” he added.
Garkuwa wished the new Director-General wisdom, success and greater achievements in his new role, while praying for divine guidance and blessings in the discharge of his duties.
The appointment places Lamido in a strategic position to contribute to the coordination of economic and social reform initiatives in Gombe State.
