The Kano Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) arrested Kannywood actress Samha Inuwa on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, over alleged Naira mutilation.
Inuwa’s arrest followed a viral video circulating on social media showing her cleaning mucus from her nose with Naira notes.

Upon seeing the video, the Commission immediately traced and apprehended the actress for questioning.
She is currently in EFCC custody as investigations continue.
The Commission confirmed that Inuwa will be charged to court once the investigation is concluded.
