Hollywood actor Michael B. Jordan has joined the lineup for CultureCon 2026, adding another major entertainment figure to the annual gathering of creatives, entrepreneurs and cultural leaders in Brooklyn, New York.
Jordan will appear at the two-day festival scheduled for October 3 and 4 at the Duggal Greenhouse in the Brooklyn Navy Yard. Actors Aaron Pierre, Wale and Tobe Nwigwe have also joined the newly expanded lineup.
The new additions will join previously announced names such as John Legend, Mahershala Ali, Colin Kaepernick, Niecy Nash-Betts, Daniel Kaluuya, Sherri Shepherd, Danessa Myricks and Rajah Caruth.
CultureCon 2026 to Celebrate Creativity and Culture
Founded by Imani Ellis, CultureCon brings together people working across entertainment, business, sports, art and culture. The festival combines conversations with industry figures, workshops, networking opportunities and interactive experiences.
This year’s theme, “Museum of Us,” focuses on people who are actively shaping culture and creative industries. Organisers describe the theme as a celebration of stories, contributions and ideas that deserve greater visibility.
The 2026 programme will also feature a Culture Stage and a Creative Business Stage. Attendees can access career development opportunities, a Career Lounge, networking through Braindate and a Small Business Marketplace.
The festival is expected to bring together thousands of creative entrepreneurs, creators and cultural leaders over the two-day event. CultureCon says its 2026 gathering will feature workshops, activations and opportunities for professional connections.
Michael B. Jordan Leads New Additions
Jordan joins CultureCon following a major year in his acting career. He won the Academy Award for Best Actor in 2026 for his performance in “Sinners.”
The actor is also preparing for the release of “The Thomas Crown Affair,” a project he directed, produced and stars in.
Aaron Pierre, who stars in DC’s “Lanterns,” will also join the CultureCon programme. Wale and Tobe Nwigwe bring their experience in music and creative entrepreneurship to an event that continues to expand beyond traditional entertainment conversations.
Their addition strengthens a programme that already features prominent voices from different parts of the creative and business industries.
CultureCon Week Begins Before Main Festival
Before the main CultureCon weekend, New York City will host CultureCon Week from September 28 through October 2.
The week will feature dinners, screenings, community gatherings and other events across the city. A kickoff party will follow on October 2 before the main festival begins the next day.
Several major brands will also take part in the 2026 programme. Chase Ink returns as the presenting sponsor, while partners include HBO Max, TikTok, Google, Pinterest and Audible, among others. These partnerships will support specialised stages, lounges, activations and sessions during the festival.
With its mix of entertainment, business, culture and professional development, CultureCon 2026 is set to bring established industry figures and emerging creatives together in Brooklyn for two days of conversations, networking and hands-on experiences.
