Fidson Healthcare has rewarded shareholders with a ₦3.6 billion dividend after recording a historic ₦119.06 billion in revenue for the 2025 financial year.

The company’s revenue grew by 41% from ₦84.19 billion in 2024 to ₦119.06 billion in 2025. Growth came from stronger sales across its ethical drugs and consumer healthcare products.

Shareholders approved a final dividend of ₦1.50 per share, bringing the total payout to about ₦3.6 billion. This is more than 50% higher than the ₦2.29 billion dividend declared for 2024.

Fidson’s pre-tax profit jumped by 94% to ₦14.96 billion. Meanwhile, profit after tax climbed by 125% to ₦9.88 billion, showing strong earnings growth despite rising costs.

However, the company faced higher production costs, finance expenses, and foreign exchange losses. Even so, it maintained healthy profit growth through strong sales and improved operations.

Fidson also reduced its interest bearing loans by nearly half. In addition, total equity increased as retained earnings grew, strengthening the company’s balance sheet.

The company continues to expand its manufacturing capacity. New production lines and business development efforts are expected to support future growth and improve medicine supply.

Fidson’s record revenue and higher dividend highlight a strong year for the company. As demand for locally produced medicines grows, the company aims to build on its momentum in the years ahead.
