NYSC DISCLOSE DATE FOR BATCH A

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has postponed the 2026 Batch ‘A’ Stream II orientation camp for prospective corps members posted to Enugu and Osun States.

The delay affects only the orientation camps in these two states. NYSC said the exercise in other states across Nigeria will begin as planned on April 22, 2026.

According to the scheme, registration and camp activities for other states will continue without any changes. The orientation course remains an important part of the national service programme for all graduates.

NYSC explained that the postponement in Enugu and Osun is due to administrative and logistical reasons. However, the agency did not give full details about the adjustment.

Prospective corps members affected by the change have been advised to stay calm and keep checking official NYSC channels for new dates and further updates.

The scheme also asked all corps members to follow safety rules, especially while travelling to their assigned orientation camps.

NYSC said it remains committed to ensuring a smooth and successful orientation exercise across the country.

The orientation camp helps prepare graduates for national service before they move to their places of primary assignment.
