Zainab Buba Galadima has formally resigned her membership from the All Progressives Congress (APC).

In a letter dated March 30, 2026, and addressed to the APC Ward Chairman in Wuse, Abuja, she announced her decision to leave the party.

The former Wuse Ward Councillor gave a brief but striking reason for her resignation.

“I tried, I am tired; my conscience left the party, so I quit,” the letter read.

Her exit adds to the growing list of political realignments and defections across Nigeria’s political landscape.

Observers say such moves reflect ongoing internal tensions and shifting loyalties within major political parties.

The development comes amid a broader wave of defections ahead of the 2027 election cycle.
