President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has condemned recent attacks in Plateau and Kaduna states.
The President described the killings in Angwan Rukuba, Jos, as barbaric and cowardly.
He also condemned the attack in Kahir village, Kagarko Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
Tinubu said the incidents represent an affront to national values and security.

He assured Nigerians that those responsible will be brought to justice.
The President directed security agencies to intensify efforts to track and apprehend perpetrators.
He also warned against misinformation that could escalate tensions.
Tinubu cautioned sections of the media against framing the attacks along religious lines.
He emphasised the importance of public cooperation in maintaining peace and security.
The President urged security agencies to act proactively on intelligence to prevent further attacks.
He also called for the immediate rescue of abducted victims in Kaduna.
Tinubu commended Caleb Mutfwang and Uba Sani for their response efforts.
He reassured both states of federal support in addressing the situation.
The President extended condolences to affected families and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
