Court Adjourns El-Rufai Bail Hearing to April 1

The bail hearing of former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai has been adjourned to April 1, 2026.

Proceedings began with the defence counsel applying to withdraw an earlier request for recusal.

The court accepted the application and moved to hear the bail request.

However, the prosecution informed the court that its response had only been filed shortly before the session.

Due to the late filing, the court adjourned the matter to allow proper consideration.
