FG Hands Over 500-Bed Hostels in Gombe

These new hostels and other facilities aim to make education better and support people in the region.

The Federal Government has given 500 new hostel beds to schools in Gombe State. Two towns get new student rooms. 250 beds at Government Science Technical College, Kumo and 250 beds at College of Health Sciences and Technology, Kaltungo

Hon. Uba Maigari Ahmed, Minister of State for Regional Development, led the event. He toured the hostels and other projects with officials.

The Deputy Governor of Gombe State, Manasseh Daniel Jatau, thanked the North East Development Commission (NEDC). He said the hostels will help students and should be well looked after.

In Gombe town, the Minister also opened New maternity centres Central Medical Stores Lecture halls at Gombe State University, Staff houses and Other school buildings

The team also checked on two new bridges being built to improve travel and business in the state.
