Governor Uba Sani visited Kurmin Wali survivors at Kaduna State Women and Children’s Shelter, witnessing their recovery, resilience, and hope after enduring horrific banditry experiences.
During the visit, he observed medical treatment and psychosocial support provided to survivors, noting visible optimism and gratitude for the care offered by state authorities.
Furthermore, he emphasized the government’s unwavering commitment to work with security agencies, ensuring the safe return of those still held captive in the region.

Transitioning from care to action, Governor Sani urged the establishment of a military base in Kurmin Wali to strengthen security and protect lives proactively.
He explained that the base would enhance coordination, prevent future attacks, and restore peace and normalcy to affected communities in Kaduna State and surrounding areas.
Additionally, the Governor reassured citizens that the state remains committed to upholding dignity, safeguarding families, and supporting survivors in reclaiming their daily routines successfully.
Senator Sani also expressed confidence that with continued care, survivors would be medically and psychologically cleared, allowing safe reintegration into their homes and communities soon.
He concluded by commending security agencies, healthcare workers, and state officials for their dedication, reinforcing that peace, protection, and resilience remain top government priorities.
