A major promise has been fulfilled with the completion of the Tudun Biri Resettlement Scheme for Persons Impacted by Conflicts (RSPIC). The project delivered 133 homes, a school, a hospital, and other vital facilities, providing a fresh start for those affected by conflict and paving the way for formal commissioning.
The large-scale development features 133 units of three bedroom houses, alongside critical social infrastructure including a school, skill acquisition center, hospital, mosque, church, and a network of connecting roads. The project is designed to provide not just shelter, but a fully functional and thriving community for families affected by past conflict.
Once marked by hardship and loss, Tudun Biri is now being transformed into a symbol of recovery and renewal. The new facilities are expected to improve access to education, healthcare, worship centers, and economic opportunities, giving residents a fresh start and a safer environment to rebuild their lives.
The initiative falls under the Resettlement Scheme for Persons Impacted by Conflicts (RSPIC), part of the Renewed Hope Agenda of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led administration. The programme focuses on restoring dignity to displaced and affected persons by turning devastated areas into stable, livable communities.
With the completion of the Tudun Biri project, the government says it is demonstrating its commitment to translating promises into tangible results transforming ruins into resilience, and tragedy into triumph.
