Donald Trump vowed retaliation after American service members died in the widening conflict with Iran.

Trump honoured the fallen as true American patriots and said the United States will avenge their deaths. 

He spoke as combat operations continue against Iranian targets following joint U.S.–Israeli strikes. 

The Pentagon confirmed multiple U.S. service members have been killed and others wounded in recent days.

Trump warned more casualties are likely before the conflict ends. 

He said the military offensive could last about four to five weeks but could extend if necessary. 

Trump also pledged U.S. forces will continue strikes until objectives are achieved. 

The president described the conflict as essential to national security and said Iran posed threats to U.S. interests. 

Iran has fired missiles and drones at U.S. and allied positions in retaliation for the strikes. 

Trump’s comments underscore rising tensions and a significant U.S. military commitment in the Middle East.
