The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Port Harcourt Area I Command, has recorded an unprecedented revenue collection of ₦33.753 billion for October 2025, marking its highest monthly performance in history.

This was contained in a statement issued on Friday, November 7, 2025, by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, Assistant Superintendent of Customs I, Barilule Aanee, who noted that the figure reflects a remarkable increase from ₦9.079 billion recorded in the same period last year.

The Command also surpassed its annual revenue target of ₦216 billion, amassing a total of ₦247.461 billion between January and October 2025 — significantly higher than the ₦164.080 billion collected during the corresponding period in 2024.

According to the statement, Customs Area Controller, Comptroller Salamatu Atuluku, attributed the impressive performance to reforms introduced by the Comptroller-General of Customs, Adewale Adeniyi, including the deployment of the Unified Customs Management System (B’Odogwu) and an increased focus on compliance, transparency, and stakeholder collaboration.
