The Nigeria Customs Service Western Marine Command has organised a reputation management training for its officers.

The training took place on February 3, 2026, at the Command’s headquarters in Lagos.

The programme followed a directive from Comptroller-General Adewale Adeniyi.

The directive aims to strengthen ethical conduct and public trust across the Service.

Customs Area Controller Patrick Ntadi described reputation management as vital to effective operations.

He said officers serve as the primary link between government and the public.

Ntadi urged officers to uphold professionalism and integrity in their duties.

He warned that misconduct could damage the credibility of the Service.

He commended officers for their discipline and professional appearance.

The training facilitator, CSC Dauda Ibrahim, said reputation management requires collective responsibility.

He noted that the initiative seeks to improve conduct and ethical standards.
