Tinubu Meets Labour Leaders Over Planned Protest

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Tuesday night met with the leadership of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) at the State House, Abuja, over the proposed nationwide protest.

The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum and Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma; Governor of Edo State, Monday Okpebholo; Governor of Kebbi State, Dr Nasir Idris; and the Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Nkeiruka Onyejeocha.

The NLC delegation was led by its President, Comrade Joe Ajaero.

The meeting focused on labour concerns and ongoing engagements between the Federal Government and organised labour ahead of the planned protest.
