President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has described Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, as a “true representation of a progressive” whose leadership continues to strengthen unity and drive development in the country.

In a birthday tribute issued from the State House on Wednesday, the President praised Governor Uzodimma’s political ideals, administrative style, and contribution to national cohesion, ahead of his 12 December birthday.

Tinubu said the Imo State governor embodies the values of the Renewed Hope Agenda, noting that his commitment to national unity and inclusive governance has distinguished him among his peers.

“Governor Uzodimma talks of unity and acts to strengthen our bond and blur the artificial lines that separate us. He is a patriot through and through,” the President said.

He highlighted Uzodimma’s emergence as Chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum (PGF) as evidence of his capacity to mobilise, build consensus, and inspire confidence across party lines.

The President also credited the governor with delivering steady progress in Imo State since assuming office in 2020, particularly in infrastructure development, healthcare, education, and security.

“At a personal level, Governor Uzodimma is very affable and has an admirable strength of character. He is a dependable ally,” Tinubu added.

The President joined the governor’s family, friends, associates, supporters, and the people of Imo State in celebrating him, wishing him good health and continued service to the nation.
