Taraba Governor Approves New Commissioner Nominees

Governor Agbu Kefas has approved new appointments into the Taraba State Government.

The Governor nominated Emmanuel Lawson Hassan and Fatima Tenny Habeeb as commissioners.

Their nominations are subject to screening and approval by the Taraba State House of Assembly.

Dr. Hassan previously served as Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor.

He also oversaw the Strategy and Portfolio Delivery Office.

Officials say his experience spans academia, politics and public administration.

Mrs. Habeeb began her career as a teacher before rising to the position of Permanent Secretary.

She is expected to bring administrative and communication expertise to her new role.

In addition, the Governor approved the appointment of Muhammad Al-Ameen Ibraheem as Deputy Chief of Staff.

His appointment takes immediate effect.

He has served in various roles, including project monitoring and evaluation.

The state government said the appointments are aimed at strengthening governance and service delivery.
