The Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS) has officially unveiled its new institutional brand identity, marking the complete transition from the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) to the newly restructured national revenue authority.

The development was announced in a statement issued by Dare Adekanmbi, Special Adviser to the Chairman of NRS, who confirmed that the unveiling of the new logo is part of ongoing reforms to reposition the agency for improved tax administration and national revenue mobilisation.

According to the statement, the rebranding reflects the strategic mandate of the NRS to strengthen institutional capacity, modernize tax systems, and align operations with global best practices in public revenue management.

The launch of the logo signals the first public-facing step in the transition, with further operational and administrative adjustments expected to follow. The agency is expected to roll out additional frameworks to enhance compliance, transparency, and nationwide taxpayer engagement.
