FCTA Gives Phone Numbers for Reporting Uncleared Refuse

The Federal Capital Territory Administration, FCTA, has released dedicated phone lines for residents to report uncleared refuse across the FCT.

The move is aimed at tackling the growing waste challenge and ensuring sanitation contractors carry out their duties promptly.

Residents are encouraged to report any failure in waste evacuation in their neighbourhoods.

In a statement, the Senior Special Assistant to the FCT Minister on Public Communications and Social Media, Lere Olayinka, urged residents to send clear pictures or videos of uncleared refuse via WhatsApp, along with the exact location to help identify the responsible contractor.

The designated contact numbers are 08038643087, 07011073406, 07011255710, and 09114843425.

The FCTA says reports from residents will help improve accountability and sanitation standards in the nation’s capital.
