U.S. Urges Americans in Middle East to Seek Evacuation

The United States Department of State has urged American citizens in the Middle East who wish to leave the region to contact the government for evacuation assistance.

Officials said the advisory follows ongoing security concerns linked to the regional conflict.

According to the State Department, nearly 18,000 Americans have already returned safely to the United States since the launch of Operation Epic Fury.

More than 8,500 people returned in a single day, officials added.

The U.S. government said it is coordinating evacuation flights and support services to assist citizens leaving the region.

Americans seeking assistance were asked to contact the State Department through the emergency number +1-202-501-4444.

Officials said the evacuation effort remains ongoing as the situation in the Middle East continues to evolve.
