Nigeria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, has participated in the 26th Commonwealth Foreign Affairs Ministers Meeting held in London.
The meeting took place at Lancaster House and brought together foreign ministers from across the Commonwealth of Nations.
During the meeting, ministers reviewed major global challenges affecting member countries.
Discussions focused on strengthening cooperation in areas such as peace, economic resilience and democratic governance.

Participants also examined ways to enhance collaboration among Commonwealth states.
The meeting also served as a platform to coordinate positions ahead of the upcoming Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting.
Foreign ministers exchanged views on priority issues expected to feature at the summit.
Tuggar reaffirmed Nigeria’s commitment to active participation in international diplomacy.
He noted that multilateral engagement remains important for addressing shared global challenges.
According to him, Nigeria will continue to support initiatives that promote peace, economic development and democratic values across the Commonwealth.
