Donald Trump has said the current Iran arrangement does not reflect what the U.S. agreed to.

He accused Iran of failing to meet key terms, especially on the Strait of Hormuz.

Trump said Iran has not ensured free and safe passage through the Strait.

He criticised Tehran’s handling of oil shipments and called it “dishonourable.”

He insisted that the agreement required the waterway to remain open without restrictions.

The tension centers on Iran’s proposal to charge tolls on ships using the Strait.

Reports suggest Iran wants about $1 per barrel or large fees per tanker.

The U.S. and its allies have rejected the idea, citing international maritime rules.

The Strait of Hormuz handles about 20% of global oil shipments.

Any disruption quickly affects oil prices and global markets.

Hundreds of vessels have faced delays due to restricted access and security concerns.

The dispute comes despite a temporary ceasefire between both countries.

Trump has tied continued calm to Iran reopening the Strait fully and immediately.

The situation remains unstable, with both sides interpreting the agreement differently.

Global attention now focuses on whether negotiations will hold or tensions will escalate again.
