United States President Donald J. Trump, in a Christmas message released on Wednesday, extended holiday greetings to Americans while sharply criticizing what he described as the “radical left,” accusing them of attempting to undermine the country.

In the statement, Trump said the opposition was “doing everything possible to destroy our country,” but added that their efforts were “failing badly.” He claimed improvements in several areas, including border security, sports regulations, and law enforcement strength.

Trump also highlighted what he described as economic achievements, including a “record stock market,” low crime rates, and a 4.3 percent GDP growth figure, which he said surpassed expectations.

He attributed the growth to tariff policies, stating they had generated “trillions of dollars in growth and prosperity.”

The former president further asserted that the United States currently enjoys “the strongest national security we have ever had” and said the country is “respected again, perhaps like never before.”

While extending Christmas greetings, Trump wrote, “Merry Christmas to all,” before concluding the message with, “God Bless America.”

Trump is considered a leading figure in the Republican Party ahead of the 2026 political cycle, with expectations of continued influence in U.S. national discourse.
