Tinubu Reroutes Tour, Begins with Jos Stopover

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has postponed his planned visit to Iperu in Ogun State. He will now begin a four-state tour with a stop in Jos, Plateau State.

The President changed his itinerary to commiserate with the people of Plateau State following recent gun attacks that killed several residents.

His Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onaunuga, confirmed the development in a statement.

After visiting Plateau, Tinubu will travel to Lagos to observe the Good Friday holiday.

He will then head to Ogun State on Saturday, April 4. During the visit, he will commission the Gateway International Cargo Airport. He will also inaugurate two commercial aircraft for import and export operations to boost economic growth.

The President will also inaugurate the new Federal Operations Unit of the Nigerian Customs Service and its operational vehicles.

Tinubu will return to Lagos for the Easter holiday. While there, he will commission key projects executed by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

He will conclude the tour in Bayelsa State on April 10. During the visit, he will commission projects completed under Governor Duoye Diri before returning to Abuja.
