President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has expressed condolences to residents of Borno State following recent terror attacks in Maiduguri.
The President said he mourns those who lost their lives and sympathises with victims injured during the attacks.
He also expressed solidarity with the people of Borno as they face the aftermath of the security incident.
Tinubu described the attacks as desperate actions by terrorist groups attempting to spread fear among citizens.

He said the attacks occurred as security forces continue pressure on criminal and terrorist elements across different regions.
The President commended the courage and resilience of Nigerian troops who repelled coordinated attacks on military positions in the state.
Tinubu said the armed forces and civilian task forces remain committed to defeating terrorists operating in the country.
He disclosed that he recently approved additional equipment and operational support for security agencies to strengthen their capabilities.
According to him, the support was approved during a meeting with leaders of security and intelligence agencies.
The President also directed security chiefs to move to Maiduguri to take charge of the situation.
He further instructed emergency agencies to provide medical assistance and proper care for victims injured in the attacks.
Tinubu assured Nigerians that security forces would continue operations to locate and defeat terrorists across the country.
