Tinubu Assures Nigerians of Better Electricity

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has assured Nigerians that his administration is taking steps to improve electricity supply across the country.

Speaking at the APC National Convention 2026, the president acknowledged the frustration many citizens feel about the poor quality of electricity. He said the government has begun reforms to fix the sector.

Tinubu explained that his administration is working to strengthen power generation, improve transmission networks, and ensure better electricity distribution nationwide.

“We understand the hardship caused by poor power supply, and we are working tirelessly to fix it,” the president said.

He added that reliable electricity is essential for economic growth, job creation, and industrial development.

The president also said the government plans to invest in renewable energy. These efforts will help support the national grid and improve electricity access.

His remarks come amid growing public concern about unstable power supply and rising energy costs across Nigeria.

Party leaders at the convention expressed support for the administration’s agenda. They urged Nigerians to remain patient as the reforms take effect.

Tinubu reaffirmed that improving electricity remains a top priority for his government.
