Nigeria’s Super Eagles will return to training tonight ahead of their final Group Stage encounter against the Cranes of Uganda at the ongoing 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

The training session is scheduled to take place at the Sardienne Complex by 5:00pm local time, as the team prepares to consolidate their position in the tournament.

Head coach Éric Chelle is expected to limit the workload on some key players, including Victor Osimhen, Ademola Lookman, Wilfred Ndidi, and Alex Iwobi, ahead of Tuesday’s fixture.

The decision is aimed at preventing fatigue and allowing fringe players battle for a place in the starting lineup.

The final group match between Nigeria and Uganda will be played on Tuesday at the Complexe Sportif de Fès, with both sides seeking a decisive result as the race for qualification intensifies.
