Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajudeen, has charged Nigeria’s security agencies to intensify efforts to rescue over 100 worshippers abducted by suspected terrorists in Kurmin Wali community, Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

In a statement issued on Thursday, the Speaker strongly condemned the attack on places of worship and expressed deep concern over the rising cases of mass kidnappings targeting soft locations such as schools and religious centres across the country.

Abbas described the incident as disturbing and unacceptable, stressing that the safety of citizens must remain a top national priority.

The Speaker further offered prayers for the safe return of the abducted worshippers to their families and communities.
