South Africa will withdraw its troops from the United Nations peacekeeping mission in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
This was contained in a state by President Cyril Ramaphosa’s office by late Saturday.
The decision was announced in a formal statement, although officials did not provide a timeline for the withdrawal.
