The Nigerian Senate has asked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to sack the Registrar-General of the Corporate Affairs Commission, Barrister Hussain Magaji.
The call came on Wednesday during the Ministry of Finance budget defence and interactive session with the economic team in Abuja.
The motion was moved by Orji Uzor Kalu and seconded by Adams Oshiomhole.
Senator Kalu said the CAC Registrar-General has consistently failed to honour Senate invitations.

He said Magaji often sends junior officers instead of appearing in person before the committee.
Kalu added that the repeated absence shows disregard for legislative oversight.
Supporting the motion, Senator Oshiomhole warned that the Senate would withhold CAC funding.
He said the Senate would not appropriate funds for the Commission in the 2026 budget.
The lawmakers stressed that accountability to parliament remains non-negotiable for public office holders.
