Political figure Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has condemned the recent attack in Jos, Plateau State.
The incident occurred in Gari Ya Waye community in Angwan Rukuba area.
Reports indicate that at least 27 people were killed, with several others injured.
Kwankwaso described the attack as tragic and a reflection of worsening insecurity.
He said the recurring violence in Plateau State must be treated as a national emergency.
According to him, the killings highlight failures in addressing security challenges across the country.

He warned against normalising violence in affected communities.
Kwankwaso said Nigerians deserve to live in peace regardless of ethnicity or religion.

He also stressed the need for accountability and stronger security measures nationwide.
