Former Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Ali Pantami, delivered a powerful message on the inevitability of death during the funeral prayer of the mother of Nasir El-Rufai.

The Janazah prayer took place at the National Mosque Abuja. It attracted a large crowd of mourners, including top government officials, religious leaders, and sympathisers.

During his sermon, Pantami reminded the congregation that death is certain.

He urged attendees to live righteous lives and remain devoted to God. According to him, faith becomes even more important during moments of grief.

“Life is transient, and every soul shall taste death,” he said.

Furthermore, Pantami encouraged deep personal reflection.

He asked mourners to examine their actions and strengthen their relationship with God. He stressed that people should remain conscious of their deeds at all times.

As a result, he noted that a person’s legacy depends on moral and spiritual values.

In addition, Pantami offered prayers for the late Hajiya Umma El-Rufai.

He asked Allah to forgive her shortcomings and grant her Aljannah. He also prayed for strength and patience for the El-Rufai family.

The Janazah was not only a time of grief. It also served as a strong spiritual reminder.

It highlighted the temporary nature of life and the need for humility, faith, and preparation for the hereafter.
