The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has paid a solidarity visit to the African Democratic Congress (ADC) over concerns about pressure on opposition parties.
The PDP said recent developments point to a growing threat against political plurality in Nigeria.
The delegation stated that opposition parties now face similar political pressures across the country.
It urged stakeholders to remain vigilant against actions that may weaken democratic institutions.
The PDP team included Seyi Makinde, Adolphus Wabara, and Jerry Gana.
Others included Babangida Aliyu and Taofeek Arapaja.

ADC leaders received the delegation, including Atiku Abubakar, David Mark, and Peter Obi.
Others present included Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, and Rauf Aregbesola.
ADC leaders thanked the PDP for the visit and support.
They said opposition parties face coordinated efforts that may weaken democratic competition.
Both parties agreed to continue engagement to defend democratic values and institutions.
The meeting reflects rising political realignments ahead of the 2027 general elections.
