The Joint Task Force (North East) Operation HADIN KAI says terrorists have resorted to propaganda.

The task force accused Boko Haram and ISWAP remnants of recycling old images.

It said the materials aim to mislead the public about current security realities.

OPHK cited a resurfaced July 9, 2020 publication.

The report allegedly claimed a recent ambush on Nigerian soldiers.

The task force said the images are outdated and misleading.

It stated that no recent incident involved the loss of 20 soldiers.

OPHK said improved air and ground coordination has strengthened operations.

Troops reportedly engaged terrorists in Miyanti, Gajigana and Gajiram.

The military said it neutralised several fighters during the operations.

Recovered items included anti-aircraft platforms and rocket bombs.

Troops also seized machine guns and assorted rifles.

At Chabbal checkpoint, soldiers intercepted logistics supplies.

They recovered N37 million allegedly meant for terrorist financing.

In Komala, Konduga LGA, troops pursued fleeing insurgents.

The military said it neutralised 16 fighters in the encounter.

Soldiers recovered bicycles and destroyed critical logistics items.

OPHK described the week’s operations as a decisive setback to insurgents.

It said terrorists now rely on psychological warfare tactics.

The task force urged the public to verify information before sharing.

It encouraged citizens to support security agencies with credible intelligence.

OPHK reaffirmed commitment to restoring peace in the North East.
