Ondo: Amotekun Arrests 95 Suspects, Including 12 Kidnappers

The Ondo State Security Network, Amotekun Corps, has arrested 95 suspects across the state’s 18 local government areas for crimes including kidnapping, illegal mining, and burglary.

The arrests resulted from a collaboration between Amotekun, the Nigeria Police, NSCDC, DSS, and the Nigerian Army.

61 individuals intercepted in a trailer currently undergoing profiling.

12 suspects linked to kidnapping. 19 suspects for general breaches of law and order.3 suspects for anti grazing/herder-farmer conflicts.

Commander Akogun Adeleye highlighted that arrests in restive areas like Akure North (Ilu-Abo, Ogbese, and Alagbaka) are expected to significantly restore peace to the region.

The Commander issued the final warning to criminal elements, stating that security forces remain committed to decisive action against any illegal activities.
