The National Orientation Agency (NOA) conducted its 2026 nationwide promotion examination, marking the second year of a major digital innovation under DG Lanre Issa-Onilu.
The exercise adopts Computer-Based Testing (CBT), facilitated by JAMB, enabling staff to write promotion exams locally without travelling across states, modernising the Agency’s operations.
The examination ran nationwide from 9:00 a.m. to 10:15 a.m., supervised by officers from JAMB, the Office of Head of Service, Federal Character Commission, and NOA.
Mrs. Joanah Ayisola Olowoyo, Director of Human Resources Management, praised the DG for fulfilling his promise of conducting early, accessible promotion exams for NOA staff.
She explained the CBT system reduces travel, enhances staff welfare, and strengthens professionalism, ensuring career development aligns with modern administrative standards and best practices.
Candidates lauded the initiative, noting it improved productivity, lowered costs, and allowed staff to focus on preparation within their respective states, avoiding unnecessary logistical challenges.
Since assuming office in October 2023, DG Lanre Issa-Onilu has replaced handwritten exams with CBT, reflecting his commitment to efficiency, transparency, and digital reform across NOA.
