The Federal Government has announced the establishment of Nigeria House Davos, marking the country’s first official permanent presence on the Davos Promenade during the World Economic Forum (WEF) annual meeting.

The initiative, set to launch on January 19, 2026, is a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) aimed at showcasing Nigeria’s economic reforms and “Renewed Hope” agenda directly to global investors. Traditionally, Nigerian delegations have held meetings in various hotels, but the new “Nigeria House” will serve as a sovereign hub for high-level roundtables and bilateral talks.

“This is about taking control of our narrative,” said Abiodun Oladunjoye, Director of Information at the State House. The hub will focus on five thematic areas, including solid minerals, digital trade, and the creative economy. The move comes as Nigeria seeks to bolster Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), which the presidency reports rose to $720 million in the third quarter of 2025.
