At the Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport, a 41-year-old Ivorian excreted 82 wraps of cocaine after body scan confirmed ingestion.

In Lagos, NDLEA arrested real estate executive Kolapo Oladapo Raji and seized 89kg of cannabis at his Lekki residence.

Further raids in Edo, Bauchi, Ondo, Delta, and Kogi states led to seizures of over one tonne of cannabis and thousands of tramadol pills.

NDLEA also uncovered 170,900 bottles of codeine syrup at the Port Harcourt port complex during a joint operation.

The agency said the arrests show traffickers’ growing desperation and pledged to sustain nationwide enforcement and prevention campaigns.
