Former Kano State deputy governor Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna has resigned from the All Progressives Congress.

Gawuna, who was the APC governorship candidate in Kano, confirmed his resignation in a letter.

The letter was dated March 29, 2026 and addressed to the party chairman in his ward.

He represents Gawuna Ward in Nassarawa Local Government Area of Kano State.
