A visually impaired young woman from Katsina State, Rabi’atu Nasir, has said her disability will not stop her from pursuing education and helping others in society.
Speaking in an interview with TRT Afrika, Rabi’atu explained that despite living with visual impairment, she remains determined to achieve her goals and contribute positively to her community.
She revealed that she has successfully memorised the Holy Qur’an and also attained a National Certificate in Education (NCE) in Western education.

According to her, losing her sight has never discouraged her from seeking knowledge, and she stresses that determination and faith continue to drive her ambitions.
Rabi’atu said she hopes her story will inspire others, particularly people living with disabilities, to believe in themselves and pursue education regardless of their circumstances.
She also expressed her desire to use her knowledge and experiences to assist others and make a meaningful impact in society.
