Kaduna Assures Security Ahead of NPRW 2026

The Kaduna State Government has assured delegates of adequate security ahead of Nigeria Public Relations Week (NPRW) 2026.

The event is the flagship conference of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations.

The assurance came from Kaduna Commissioner for Information, Ahmed Maiyaki.

He spoke while receiving the national planning committee for the event in Kaduna.

The delegation was led by Yomi Badejo-Okusanya.

Maiyaki said Kaduna’s selection reflects growing confidence in the state’s development strategy.

Additionally, he said the state has made significant progress in agricultural revitalisation and strategic communication.

Over 2,000 delegates expected

Organisers expect more than 2,000 delegates to attend the conference.

The event will hold from April 19 to April 25, 2026 in Kaduna.

The conference theme is:

“Nigeria’s Food Security: From Policy Paper to Public Plate; The Imperative of Public Relations.”

Officials say discussions will focus on the role of communication in advancing national food security.

Tinubu expected to declare event open

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is expected to declare the conference open.

Meanwhile, Kaduna Governor Uba Sani will serve as the Chief Host.

Organisers said the conference will bring together public relations professionals, policymakers, academics, and industry leaders.

They added that the gathering will explore communication strategies that support national development.
