Israeli forces have shot dead a 24-year-old Palestinian during a military raid in the occupied West Bank city of Jericho, amid growing concerns over restricted humanitarian access in Gaza.
According to news, Saeed Na’el al-Sheikh was killed late Tuesday night when Israeli troops raided Jericho, east of the occupied West Bank.
The Palestinian Health Ministry confirmed that three other Palestinians were wounded during the operation.
In separate incidents across the West Bank, at least six additional Palestinians sustained injuries. Reports indicate that three were shot with live ammunition, two were beaten by Israeli soldiers, while a woman was injured after being run over by a military vehicle.
Meanwhile, restrictions on movement through Gaza’s Rafah crossing have continued to worsen the humanitarian situation.

Only 16 Palestinians were allowed to cross into Egypt on Tuesday for medical treatment. This figure is significantly below the 50 people Israeli authorities had earlier indicated would be permitted to travel daily in each direction.
The previous day, only five Palestinians were allowed to leave Gaza, while 12 were permitted to return. Egyptian officials earlier stated that about 150 people were scheduled to exit Gaza on Monday, with 50 expected to enter.
“There is no explanation as to why crossings are being delayed at Rafah,” Khoudary said, noting that processing times have become unusually long.
Humanitarian groups continue to warn that ongoing delays and closures are placing thousands of vulnerable civilians at risk, particularly those in urgent need of specialized medical care.
