INEC stressed that the site is fraudulent and may be used to collect sensitive personal information from unsuspecting citizens.

The commission advised members of the public not to click on the link or submit personal details on the platform.

INEC clarified that the only official portal for the Continuous Voter Registration is:

cvr.inecnigeria.org

Eligible Nigerians can use the portal to access several voter services.

These include registering as new voters, transferring voter registration, correcting personal information and replacing lost or damaged Permanent Voter Cards.

The commission urged Nigerians to verify electoral information through its official platforms.

It also encouraged citizens to remain vigilant against online scams that attempt to impersonate government services.

INEC emphasised that protecting personal data is critical and warned the public to use only verified channels when accessing electoral services.
