Gov Uba Sani Mourns Hajiya Umma El-Rufai

Governor Uba Sani has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Hajiya Umma El-Rufai, mother of former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai.

In a condolence message, Sani described her as a woman of “rare grace, moral clarity, and quiet strength.”

He said she lived a life defined by compassion, humility, and service.

The governor noted that she was a devoted mother and a respected community figure. He added that she promoted unity, offered wise counsel, and supported the vulnerable.

Sani said her legacy of kindness and dignity would continue to inspire many.

He extended condolences to the El-Rufai family and prayed for Allah to forgive her shortcomings and grant her Aljannatul Firdaus.

The governor also prayed for strength and comfort for the family during this period of mourning.
