The Super Eagles will begin their first training session in Antalya, Turkey, this afternoon as preparations intensify for upcoming international friendlies.

The session will start at 4 p.m. local time (2 p.m. Nigerian time).

So far, 15 players have arrived at the team’s base at Bellis Deluxe Hotel in Antalya. Meanwhile, officials expect eight more players to join the camp soon.

As a result, the coaching crew will gradually move into full training sessions once the squad is complete.

The team is currently preparing for friendly matches against Iran and Jordan.

First, the Super Eagles will face Iran’s national team, Team Melli, in Antalya on Friday. After that, they will take on Jordan four days later.

Head coach Eric Chelle will use the training sessions to assess players and fine-tune tactics.

Therefore, these friendlies will help the team build cohesion and test strategies ahead of future competitive matches.

As preparations continue, more players are expected to arrive, which will strengthen the squad depth.

Ultimately, the Antalya training camp will play a key role in shaping the team’s readiness for the upcoming fixtures.
