Gail Slater, the head of the Justice Department’s antitrust division under the Trump administration, has announced she is stepping down.

Her departure comes less than a year after being appointed by President Donald Trump.

The Justice Department has not immediately provided details regarding the reason for her resignation.

Slater oversaw antitrust enforcement and competition policy during her tenure at the department.
