The Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja has upheld the suspension of four national officers of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The affected officials are the party’s former National Secretary Samuel Anyanwu, National Vice Chairman (North Central) Abdulrahman, National Legal Adviser Ajibade, and National Organising Secretary Bature.

In its decision, the appellate court affirmed the earlier judgment of the Federal High Court delivered by Justice James Omotosho.

The Federal High Court had previously upheld the suspension of the party officials following internal disciplinary actions within the PDP.

The Court of Appeal ruling effectively confirms the validity of the suspensions.

The judgment reinforces the earlier decision of the lower court and is expected to influence the ongoing leadership dynamics within the opposition party.

Political observers say the ruling could shape internal party restructuring and affect preparations ahead of future political activities.
